Comments from yoga students
I wanted to share with you that we have been coming to Yoga at the Temple since about mid-January or so, and last week for the first time my husband and I were able to do some of the poses that seemed impossible two months ago. We see a difference. We are still struggling with the balance poses, but our flexibility is increasing and we both enjoy it very much. A great atmosphere with good people and no pressure to compete. And another student: I really like it when an easier pose is demonstrated for those of us who are recovering from an injury or just simply can not possibly bend the way that is being demonstrated...This would help the beginner, the elderly, and the physically challanged to know that this is a likeable activity and they don't have to be embarrassed for not being able to be a contortionist. It is a joy to be able to go just a little further...stand on one leg a little longer....bend just a little further, get a little more flexible, to know you are getting strong

How to learn more about Hinduism
I have a growing interest in learning more about sanatana-dharma, but am bewildered by the thousands of articles and bookis available. Can anyone give me some guidance on where to start and how to proceed? Your advice would be very much appreciated. With warm regards. Bob Submitted By: Robert Lowe

Annoying mike announcements during 5th anniversary celebrations
Namaste. I was there on all three days of 5th anniversary celebrations and it was a great occasion. However, some microphone-based announcements were annoying to most people. Under the name of 'let us hear what younger generation has to say', there were young ladies reading out something from a paper where I was 100% nobody understood what they were saying. Some were low in voice, all of them had too-much of American accent. What was the purpose of this? They didn't have the courtesy/traditional value to say Namaste all, rather they stated with "hi everyone"... remember this is a Temple, a holy place. Some of them did not know how to say "Lakshmi" or any of the ashta Lakshmi names properly. Fully westernized... what is the purpose? I think we should teach younger generation of our values and at least to be able to pronounce the God's names properly. There was another person who was talking too much on the mike and annoying people. Fund-raising is important to pay back our l

Web Site - History
I was reading the history of this temple which is very fascinating. The only concern I had is, the background color and fonts are not very reader friendly. By the time you reach at the end of the document, you just cannot read. It becomes invissible. It would be great, if that could be improved. Thanks! Ritu Submitted By: Ritu

Thank you, Thank you.
I am a student at Augsburg College and attended a tour earlier today (March 5th). I would just like to say thank you all for giving us a tour of your beautiful temple and teaching us about Hinduism. I was truly fascinated and intrigued. I greatly appreciate your knowledge, hospitality and kindness. Thanks again! Namaste :) Submitted By: Alyssa Fichter

food service
Last week we had our lunch at the temple and I very specifically asked the people servng if there were any nuts in the food. My daughter had a bad allergic reaction to the food and she only has this type of allergic reaction when she eats nuts. Please ask the volunteers to provide correct information since these type of allergies can be life threating to some people. I'm sorry to say that I won't be eating at the temple anymore since I cannot take another chance that this might happen again. Thanks Submitted By: Dipti
